October 27, 2012

Basketball

Many speculated that this could be James Hardens last year in Oklahoma City, but it looks like he’ll never get to start it. After turning down a 4 year, $52 million offer earlier today the Thunder have agreed to send him to Houston, according to Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski. The Rockets have agreed to send Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb, two 2013 1st round picks(via Dallas and Toronto) and a 2013 2nd round pick(via Charlotte) for Harden. It’s a huge deal for Houston, who has been trying all offseason to acquire a star player. Harden averaged 16.8 PPG for the Thunder in 2011 and was named the 6th man of the Year.
